Open birthdays and expiring background checks in detail
The Birthdays and Expiring Checks widgets now open detailed views, so you can reach out on birthdays and renew background checks before they lapse.
A birthday note and a timely background check renewal are both small acts of care. Two Overview widgets now go beyond a count and show you exactly who to reach.
Birthdays
Select View birthdays on the Birthdays widget to see everyone with a birthday in the widget’s window. Copy a person’s email or phone number straight from the list to send a note. Leap-day birthdays are handled correctly.
Expiring background checks
Select View checks on the Expiring Checks widget to open Expiring Background Checks. It shows:
- Total Expiring, the number of checks coming due.
- A Renewal List that puts the most urgent renewals first.
- A Recommendation for what to do next.
Owners and admins can change how far ahead the widget looks with the Expiring soon window setting, from 7 to 365 days. The default is 30 days.
How to open them
- Open Overview.
- Find the Birthdays or Expiring Checks widget. If it isn’t on your main grid, look under More metrics.
- Select the widget’s action. The detailed view opens in Ask Parable, where you can keep asking follow-up questions.
Selecting a widget gives immediate feedback and opens its detailed view faster.
