Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with or utilize the following third-party services:

Parable Chrome Extension

Parable offers a Chrome browser extension that displays engagement badges directly on Planning Center Online profiles. The Extension operates only on Planning Center Online websites and requires authentication with your Parable account to function.

The Extension collects minimal data necessary for its operation, including authentication tokens stored locally in your browser, Planning Center person IDs from URLs you visit (to fetch relevant engagement data), and your display preferences. The Extension does not track your browsing history, collect personal data from Planning Center profiles, or access data from other websites.

For complete details about the Extension's data practices, browser permissions, and your rights, please review our Chrome Extension Privacy Policy.

Use of Cookies

Parable currently does not use cookies on our Sites. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide you with notice of such changes.

Security of Your Personal Information

To secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we use a variety of security measures. Our platform uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We use Stripe for payment processing, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance. Authentication is handled through WorkOS using industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocols.

However, no website, application, or transmission can guarantee absolute security. While we have established and maintain what we believe to be appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of information obtained through the Sites and Services, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. Upon cancellation or termination of your subscription, we will retain your data for a period of ninety (90) days to allow for potential reactivation or to address any outstanding matters. After this 90-day period, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems, except for anonymized data that has already been incorporated into aggregate datasets.

If you require immediate deletion of your data, you may submit a deletion request to us at the contact information provided below. We will process such requests within fourteen (14) calendar days or ten (10) business days, whichever is longer.

Our Services may process information about children as part of the church management data provided by our Customers; such processing is conducted on behalf of the Customer church, which is responsible for ensuring appropriate consent and compliance with applicable laws. If you become aware that a child has provided us with their information directly, please contact us using the contact details provided below.
