Introducing Parable, the Church Data Platform
Parable brings your Planning Center data into one place, so your team can see who is thriving, who is drifting, and ask questions in plain language.
You can’t serve what you can’t see. Parable gives church staff one clear view of their people, built on the Planning Center data you already keep. We introduced it at the ARC conference on April 21–22, 2026.
Everything in one place
Parable connects to Planning Center and brings together People, Giving, Groups, Check-Ins, Services, Calendar, Registrations and Publishing. Instead of moving between apps and spreadsheets, your team can see the whole picture: who is connected and growing, and who is quietly drifting away. When a question comes up in a staff meeting, you can ask it in plain language and get an answer drawn from your own data.
What you can do today
- Ask questions in chat. Ask about attendance, giving, groups or volunteers and get an answer, often with a full analysis alongside it. The chat is now called Ask Parable.
- Build reports by describing them. The AI report builder turns a request into a chart you can save to a dashboard.
- Watch the numbers that matter. Dashboards and home page widgets cover attendance, giving, groups, flows and more.
- Notice people before they slip away. Engagement scores and warning lights show who is engaged, who needs attention and who is new.
- Work with lists and segments. Use your synced Planning Center lists, or filter your people and save the result as a segment.
- Send reports on a schedule. Deliver a report by email daily, weekly or monthly, as a PDF, a CSV, or both.
- Follow giving with care. Track pledge campaign progress and see first-time givers. Giving data follows each team member’s giving access.
- Print what you need. Design person and group templates, then export them as PDFs from the People page.
- Go deeper with SQL. The SQL Editor lets anyone comfortable with queries explore the synced data directly.
- Share insight back to Planning Center. If you choose, Parable writes engagement tiers and warning lights back to Planning Center as custom fields. It is off until you turn it on.
