Reports that work like a spreadsheet

Wide reports are hard to read when the names scroll out of view. Report tables now behave the way your staff already expect from a spreadsheet, so a long list of people stays easy to follow.

Keep names in view and columns in order

Freeze the first few columns so they stay put while you scroll sideways, and arrange columns in the order that makes sense to your team. A CSV export uses the order you see on screen. The layout carries everywhere the report appears, including dashboard tiles and shared links.

1. Open a report from Reports and choose Edit in Builder.
2. In Table options, use the Columns list to move columns up or down.
3. Select the pin on a column to Freeze columns up to here. Up to 4 columns can be frozen.

You can also freeze columns from the pin in a table’s column header. The same panel has Viewers can sort columns, Viewers can filter rows and Viewers can change frozen columns, so you decide how much others can rearrange.

Filter any column in a click

Each column has its own filter. Find names that contain a word, gifts between two amounts, or dates before or after a day. Active filters show as chips you can remove, and a CSV export contains the rows you filtered. Dates are matched in your church’s time zone. Filters are temporary and aren’t saved to the report. They aren’t available on tables over 5,000 rows, and the table says why.
