Find who's been attending a kind of group
A new People filter matches anyone who attended a group carrying a Planning Center tag, such as every group tagged Men's, within the days you choose.
Most churches tag their groups in Planning Center: Men’s, Women’s, Students, Sunday Connection. Now you can filter people by attendance across every group with a tag, without listing the groups one by one.
Filter by a group tag
- Open People and select Add filter.
- Under Groups, choose Group tag attendance.
- Pick a tag, then set how many days to look back.
Parable matches people who attended a recorded gathering, within that window, in any group they belong to that carries the tag. The rule follows the tag itself, so a group tagged next month is included without editing your filter. Tags are listed under their tag group, and churches with more than one Planning Center account see which account each tag comes from.
The same condition works anywhere you build a People filter: saved lists, badge conditions and custom alert conditions.
Attendance comes from your Groups sync. If a tag’s attendance hasn’t synced, the filter says so instead of showing an empty list, and badges and alerts that use it wait rather than firing.
