Turn a report into mailing labels
Open the people in any report on the People page, then export them or print mailing labels for exactly that group.
A report tells you who to reach. Often the next step is a card in the mail: a note to first-time guests, a thank-you to new givers, an invitation to everyone who hasn’t been back since spring. You can now go from a report to printed labels in a few clicks.
Open a report’s people in People
- Open a report, or a dashboard tile’s records, and switch to Records.
- Select Open these N people in People, where N is how many people the report holds.
- People opens with exactly that group and a From report: banner naming the report. Dismiss the banner to return to your usual People view.
From there you can Export CSV or print a PDF for the same group.
Print mailing labels
- On People, select Export PDF.
- In Print Report, choose a template, such as one built from the Mailing Labels starter.
- Select Generate PDF.
The Mailing Labels starter prints one label per person. It uses the person’s Envelope Salutation when Planning Center has one, and their name otherwise. Parable checks that addresses are complete before it prints.
The button appears when you can view your church’s data and the report’s records are people. Exports always follow your current permissions.
