Share dashboards with your team, or publish them by link
Choose who on your team can view or edit each dashboard, and publish a read-only link for people who don't use Parable, such as your board or elders.
A dashboard is most useful when the right people see it. You can now decide exactly who on your team has access, and share a live, read-only view with people outside Parable, such as elders or a finance committee.
Choose who can see and edit
Dashboards are private to their owner by default. From the Share Dashboard dialog you can:
- add teammates with Add a person or group and give each one Can view or Can edit
- give Everyone with Parable access view access
The dialog always says who can see the dashboard, from Private to owner to Everyone with Parable access can view.
Publish to the web
Turn on Publish to web to create a link that anyone can open without signing in. Viewers see every tile on the dashboard and can choose a date range. They see the results only, never the underlying queries.
- Open Dashboards and open the dashboard.
- Select More, then Share.
- Turn on Publish to web, then use Copy public link.
Turning Publish to web off disables the link straight away. If you publish again later, Parable creates a new link, so the old one never comes back to life.
Who can share
The dashboard’s owner can manage sharing. On a dashboard that isn’t personal, organization admins can too. Giving tiles on a published dashboard show only while the person who published it still has giving access.
